LOVE FILES

Let’s talk #LoveFiles, the collaborative art showcase which was not to be missed.
The creative show displayed the works of singer creator group Record Heads who worked in hand with the artist Lana B and featured the works of special guest Rome. As a collective, the creators came together showcasing their works of creativity. The aim was to surface a discussion about Love and gage people’s interpretations of it.
As their first collaborative art showcase, it was exciting to see the execution of it all. And as an added bonus it was pleasant to have the boys perform a number of their original songs.
When asked what to expect in the future:
Timothy said, “Definitely expect more exhibitions and more collaborative events, music, videos, everything.”
Why love:
Eliud: Because love is the most common form of energy that people use, weather its romantically or your bredrin or your parents.
Tim even went on to say that he’d wished to cover the four types of love in his comics which he is so passionate about.
With the collaborative future the boys aim to continue, they want to showcase the amazing works of different artists, giving them the opportunities to grow their platforms and build their voices.
Tim: We are the future of tomorrow, a lot of the people that in power are not gonna be there in the next 20/25 years, it’s gonna be us. And by then we want to have solidified something big and strong for the future generation to feed off of, essentially spreading love and showing it because I don’t think there’s enough of it
Going forwards what artist would you like to collaborate with?:
Josh: Goldlink, because he’s got a different type of vibe with every song. Daniel Caesar and H.E.R, because they’re bringing back that old school authentic vibe.
What were your inspirations for your photography?:
Josh: I started to think about the concept generally and looked on Instagram. What I wanted to incorporate was two sides. One was like a fairy tale; what people perceive love to be. And the other side was the reality.
With this marking the beginning of great things to come. We can only sit back, wait and expect a great show.
