Lovers, Folks, Tales is the latest EP for Amazing Show, an indie band hailing from Chiayi, Taiwan. They are one of the most representative indie bands of the new generation in Taiwan and have been nominated for the highest award in Mandarin pop music, the Golden Melody Awards. The three songs on Lovers, Folks, Tales depict a contemporary love story from obsession to addiction. The EP showcases an intimate atmosphere by collaging close-up photos, and the typography is a combination of elegant Ming typeface and wild brush strokes, representing the conflicting emotions of love and hate. The CD features a rose assembled with torn-up photos on the surface, expressing the lovers' mania. The CD case contains three images, each representing a song, allowing fans to choose their favorite song as the cover. We chose a lightweight CD case and UV printed the text on the back for a clear and simple visual effect. The typography is embossed in silver on high-quality lightweight coated paper, while the lyrics are printed in a special silver color.
