Lucid

Lucid is a collective of work from the final year BA photography students at Middlesex University. The work is an eclectic combination of individual expression exploring many themes and approaches to photography. Notions of intimacy, voyage and unity are illustrated within the work. The word ‘ Lucid ‘ has numerous meanings. It denotes rational clarity of expression and connotes vibrant luminosity. Both definitions resonate and relate with the students' work in this online exhibition. Lucid as a term serves as a vivid canopy that describes the students’ creative development. It is a word that informs the work and represents their journey of artistic discovery during their BA studies. Throughout this creative process, both students and staff have worked to achieve a flow of expression, which has been invaluable to challenging and encouraging our personal development. It is with pride that we present a stimulating and diverse graduate show.
