Luton Council are working on investing in Luton and turning it into a healthy, fair and sustainable town, where everyone can thrive and no-one has to live in poverty. To make Luton thrive again they created an event fund and needed to promote this on social media. The council had brand guidelines, but they didn't really translate to social media. So, we worked on using their colour palette and fonts but in a more engaging way. The event fund aims to celebrate the return of their full events programme. Building on the desire for hyper-local neighbourhood activity such as street parties, community wards, events and fetes. Applications can apply for up to £10,000. This was a really interesting project to work on as I was limited in terms of colour and font exploration, but in a way this made it seem more experimental. The overall brief was 'council... but make it cool.'
