For this one, we thought we’d talk you through the behind the scenes making of the asset!
Here’s how our designer Ash went about getting a quality product ready to deliver:
"I love to begin with research, delving into the background of the song and creating connections with its time period and genre. From here, I created a mood board on Pinterest to define the design style & direction.
I made sure to plan and storyboard the entire song before delving into After Effects. This ensured a strong foundation, preventing any deviation from the original brief.
My primary challenge was translating the ideas from my mind onto paper. I discovered that certain scenes needed a considerable amount of trial and error to achieve the animation I was after.
I am most proud of the art direction in this project. Conceptualising and seeing it through to completion, while being trusted with the creative process, was a rewarding experience."
