MADCon
MADCon ~ architecture's first online convention bringing together creators from around the world to come together and share their interests with the global architecture community.
MADCon is the first of its kind, a collaborative convention curated by the MAD Collective, a group of millenial content creators within architecture. The event is aimed at prospective and current students with events hosted by notable individuals, collectives and professionals who have an active role in the arch-community. Taking place in February 2021, the group aim to unite and empower students and professionals through virtual means.
The digital world has become increasingly diverse and populated within the academic and professional sectors. Architecture content creators have thrived on the power of social media whether to teach, mentor or share knowledge. MADCon aims to connect young influencers with students looking for material about productive workflow, narratives in drawing or even computational design.
Curator of the event, Sana Tabassum, founder of :scale and MAD Collective strongly believes in the power of collaboration and the resultant creative force that can change the perspectives of young adults who are beginning or struggling with their architectural journeys. MADCon will be a revolutionary experience and this is the beginning.
