Made by Mame

For this packaging brief I created Made by Mamé — an independent
beauty line. Their first product — PEEL was created by the founders grandmother when she was a child.

The signature PEEl packaging comments on the story of its creator.
The thick gooey mask is housed in paint tins. This is what she would
use to pot her masks, as her father was a painter and they had many
tins lying around. They encourage their customers to follow this
ethos and re-use the tin for other use.

To create the texture on the tin I glued white paper onto black paper
and peeled the paper off, leaving bits behind. This was then scanned
and manipulated on Photoshop. This is something I enjoy in my work,
is moving off the computer, creating something with my hands and
then returning the design to the screen.
