This set of images were created for the purpose of a 'Stop Smoking' advertisement. I wanted to approach the project in an unconventional way. It was important to me that the images were interesting and different to any stop smoking advertisement that had gone before. I created still life scenes that represented certain facts about smoking these facts were chosen as they would be off-putting to new smokers and people that smoke already. I constructed these still life scenes completely out of cardboard, I did this to make the images very eye catching. Also more important the colour of the light brown cardboard is meant to represent the addictive stimulant present in cigarettes, nicotine. This is due to the fact that nicotine is the same colour.
