Making Waves Podcats

A project that aimed to showcase emerging creative talent across Bournemouth by providing a platform for them to discuss themselves, their work and their journey. This was a solo project which meant I took on every aspect of the project, from designing the branding to conducting interviews, performing research, recording and editing the audio, and finally, publishing the content. The primary objective of this project was to shine a spotlight on a diverse range of creatives. Many of them lacked a strong online presence, and some had no presence at all, making them often overlooked by algorithms. The podcast was created to rectify this and give them the recognition they deserved. I started with thorough market research, using surveys and interviews to understand how people discover emerging talent this enabled me to gain insights into how to craft the interview questions. I then conducted the interviews and later spent a significant time editing and producing the audio. Finally, I created a name for the project and designed the branding, I wanted it to reflect a rebellious spirit and a coastal theme.
