My boss develops, trades and retains residential properties across North West London. His primary objective is to seek new development opportunities, manage more and more projects, establish new partnerships. BRIEF: to showcase his existing projects, portfolio in an attractive way which will help him to build his business further. Follow through his latest project from start to finish: Malvern Road Designs: website-design, brochure design, Instagram page, photography. large outdoor banner For the website-design, I chose a WordPress template that easily showcases the project from top to bottom in a straightforward layout. It includes full- screen images, floorplans with elegantly overlapping descriptions when you scroll down – to achieve the best visual experience. Then I have designed the brochure layout that shows the quality of work, the details and the materials used for the building project. This also tells the story & philosophy of the company as well as the area descriptions and transport links close to the development. I used lots of close up photographs of details and interior shots on whole pages to maximize the best visual effect. Combined images with text frames which resulted in a clean, professional layout. Finally, I had to set up an Instagram page: @londonandcountyhomes where he wanted to post his earlier projects he acquired to showcase his entire portfolio. Once I have done that I went to photograph the Marvern Road project before the building work has started. The original features, wallpapers, ceiling roses…to show how it looked like originally. These will be used as before shots on Instagram, I will go back from time to time to capture the different stages of the construction. Before the construction was coming to an end, while the scaffolding was up I have been asked to create a 4m x 2m design for a large outdoor PVC banner. This is now up on the scaffolding in front of the building, which can attract people even from foot traffic.
