I shot and directed this video for AJ+ (Al Jazeera), about Mama Rocks, who are pioneering Nairobi's 'street-food scene', with their "afro cool" gournet burgers food truck. Through their afro-fusion burgers, they are reacquainting Kenyans and Africans around with their African culture, cusine and flavours. In Kenya, where African culture was all but stripped away by colonialism, bringing back the tastes and food heritages of Africa, is not only delicous, but political.
