Manchester Airport

The Manchester Airport Group (MAG) embarked on a major rebrand in 2001.

This was an extensive project that involved the rebranding of the Group’s three UK airports and all associated materials. These included landside and airside signage, livery, staff uniforms, marketing materials, internal comms and customer facing materials. The project involved extensive meetings with stakeholders at all levels to ensure a consistent brand message was being conveyed.

During this time, the City of Manchester was also host to the Commonwealth Games of 2002 so it was vital the project was delivered on time and in budget in order to present a welcoming new face to domestic
and international travellers arriving at the city’s flagship airport.
