Manos De Piedra

Manos De Piedra, translating to Hands of Stone was a new premium boxing glove range. I worked on the logo design for the brand. The gloves are modern and chic but inspired by boxing history. Manos De Piedra was the nickname of a famous South American boxer. Although the client didn't wish to acknowledge the boxer himself he wanted to take inspiration from boxing history and Mexican culture. The stone hand icon created was subtly inspired by the boxer without directly acknowledging him and worked well with the bold type to create a modern logo design.
