Manuel & Raquel F. - Gravity (John Mayer Cover)

Due to the scarce means and limited budget available for this video production, I formulated the concept of it like a home video. Thus, instead of fighting against this aesthetic, I enhanced it, thereby exaggerating a hand-held camera look. The result is a simple video where I try to encapsulate the sense of nostalgia at the end of summer. I recorded the music video on several trips to A Veiga's lake, which was recorded using only natural light. The video's karaoke-style part was recorded in a backyard, using a floor lamp, a reflector, and the setting sun's light. Post-production was done in Premiere Pro CS6 and After-Effects. I tried to bring out the video's warm tones, brighten the image, and add texture to it. The song is a demo; the final version of the cover is not finished yet.
