The shoot took place in Sicily, Italy, a reality used to classic beauty standards, totally contrasting with being avant-garde. I was actually inspired by the model herself, that’s why the shoot takes her nickname, she perfectly represents androgynous beauty, and that’s a theme I really care about and that is what we wanted to represent, and how a young androgynous woman becomes an extremely contemporary muse.
