The books Marine Crisis and the Aviary of Agony were part of the A Flock of Earthly Delights Project. Both books were written from the year 2090. The books were written from a future perspective to highlight what would happen to the eco-system and the economy if marine life was to die out from plastic pollution (along with other factors such as overfishing, changes to climate temperature etc). One book focuses on underwater animals and the other book focuses on the loss of birds. The type in the books has been crafted to represent plastic debris floating in the ocean.
