my digital publishing company, maven46 received a brief to launch their new global 'Pleasure Seeking Campaign' and to re-enforce the perception of Magnum quality credentials and ingredients. I conceptualised a beauty shoot with a difference. I creatively directed a beauty editorial that would have the same high-end quality of a Vogue beauty shoot but only using the key ingredients of the Magnum ice-creams entitled Beauty Good Enough to Eat. I wanted to create such a visually evocative shoot that made the viewers want to lick their lips and go out and immediately buy a Magnum (it was launched in mid summer). I hired a MUA who has worked on international campaigns and is renowned for her creativity and a beauty photographer known for her macro detail shots. The photoshoot was published on maven46 and seeded across social channels. It received wide public and industry acclaim and was picked up by Magnum global for its ingenuity, creativity and how it tapped into the Magnum audience in an aspirational and relevant way.
