May the pop be with you
In 2017 was the 40th aniversary of the first star wars movie, coinciding with the 30 aniversary of the decease of Andy Warhol (1987) and the 20th aniversary of Roy Lichtenstein decease (1997). With all this in mind, i made this limited edition as my degree project for printmaking studies. This project is a interpretation of some of the most iconic images from Pop Art using the classic Star Wars Trilogy as a common theme. The project consist in a hand pulled screenprinted limited edition as some proposals of merchandise like the skateboards and some versions for a larger run in offset print.
