MediBell

MediBell is a self initiated project, which would be the ultimate medication management tool. Unfortunately this year my grandmother was diagnosed with dementia that is progressing.  As to which led to my family looking after her, as home help is incredibly expensive, and same as going into a care home. MediBell has been designed for people that need assistance in caring for someone, but also for the person that's being cared for to have some independence. It also helps the care process a lot easier, I noticed with my grandmother she was having so many issues with her pills, and even the chemist had put them into special blister packs, if only she had access to something like this. There are apps available that are similar, but they are all paid subscriptions that come with a carer that is employed, or they are just pill tracking apps. MediBell lets you have any carer you wish, so it could be a family member or a friend that wishes to care for you. It's not subscription based as you're assigning your own carer, so that helps keep the independence. It also makes it easy for the carer to care, and to keep track of their patient without the patient feeling like they are loosing independence.
