Meet the team: Georgia Maxwell, PR Assistant
From organising a bar mitzvah to building a bike, our new PR assistant Georgia takes everything in her stride, radiating the kind of unflappable confidence you only get from a background running back-to-back events. A keen cyclist and skier, the natural world is a big part of her joie de vivre, and it was our commitment to sustainable design and designers that tempted her to pop her CV our way. We’re so lucky she did.
Every time a new soul joins the Zetteler gang, we ply them with pastries on their first day – an initiation of sorts, but more WI than GI. Last autumn we welcomed so many lovely new faces through the doors that our pre-Christmas paunch developed a tad early, not to mention we may have finally paid E5 Bakehouse back for all the free wifi Sabine rinsed when Zetteler was just an enthusiastic chatterbox with a laptop.
The latest addition to the team is super-smiley Georgia, who has hit the ground running from day one assisting the PR team. We knew Georgia was a keeper when we found her simultaneously schmoozing guests and tidying up at our LDF party with Mad Atelier, a whole month before she was officially on team (we didn’t ask her to, she’s just fab!). We shouldn’t have been surprised – Georgia’s knack for making sure a shindig goes swimmingly comes from over a year in the events business, where she planned and managed numerous launches, parties and even weddings.
She’s mad about sustainability, enthusiastic about using design to change the world, and always bubbling with energy… unless you make her an anaemic cup of tea that is. But enough from us, here she is in her own words…
