Stemming from the German word ‘Meister’ meaning ‘skillful or, master of’, and X for exchange, we bring MeiXter to life. MeiXter is a social media-like App and Web platform where users can learn and teach skills from a wide range of fields. You can be a student, a teacher, or both. Every lesson is 1-2-1 and live, all hosted within MeiXter. Accordingly, MeiXter will be both the launchpad for a knowledge and skills-sharing community to take shape, and the medium through which the community will expand worldwide. MeiXter will also incorporate a virtual currency model to provide users with a gamified experience and through this currency will open up massive opportunities for any user who has investment constraints by allowing them to engage with the app and start working. Using this currency, users have the option to teach and scale their product, even making it a source of real income by withdrawing the virtual coins for actual currency. Furthermore, the user engagement experience of the platform will be integrated to simultaneously raise awareness on environmental concerns, starting with Reforestation. Integration is a key element here because users will be part of these initiatives without feeling that it is an extra effort but part and parcel of their natural process of learning and teaching their chosen skills.
