Mental Health Workbook

I’ve created a mental health themed workbook that includes various aids around mental health and well-being. I decided to focus on creating ways for people to reflect on their own mental health, assist others, and also educate on the topic. My workbook contains various illustrations and interactive reflective journalling pages, as well as pull out mental health fact cards in the centre fold, to allow people to educate themselves and others, be it individually or as a group activity, and use them to start conversations around mental health! The book has two front covers either side, saying 'start here if you feel good' and 'start here if you feel bad', this is to encourage the use of the book for people wanting to reflect and aid their own mental health issues, or for others to educate themselves and learn about mental health to help others. Lots of the illustrations include quotes from interviews I conducted with people about their personal mental health, and the concepts for the pages are derived from conversations I had with interviewees about their mental health and ways they can reflect and feel better about the personal issues they may have. I wanted the book to be positive and lighthearted, but also not be dismissive of mental health problems either.
