To explore the brief, I chose to play with the calendar month; December: 'Merder: The Death of Christmas'. Merder is a retrospective approach to December, which is portrayed as being one of the most happiest months of the year, celebrating Christmas and New Years. My inspiration came from real-life tragedy stories which have occurred during the month December.
