MERRY WASTEMAS!

It may be the best or maybe the worst day to publish my project ‘Merry Wastemas’, yet I want to share the series during the festive period to spread an awareness on not only the beauty of Christmas but how quick our decorations and gifts turn into waste. One moment we cherrish them, the next moment all value has faded and everything turns into unwanted waste. Thrown out of our homes but long lasting in the environment. In fact the waste production in the UK increases by over 30% during those few days compared to the rest of the year. I don’t want to stop us from celebrating as I love Christmas dearly, but spread an awareness on our excessive wastage and maybe make you pick different materials, reuse or at least recycle and don’t make our planet suffer even more just for a few moments of joy which will last way longer in our environment and affect our already servere climate crisis.
