MGGS 130th Anniversary

  • Victoria Griffiths

MGGS celebrated their 130th Anniversary in 2018 and hosted a school competition to help design a logo for the event - I was a sixth-former at the time. My logo was selected and was developed further so the design was suitable and adaptable for other products, such as jumpers, cupcakes, banners, pin badges and an outdoor clock. This was a rewarding opportunity and experience, challenging me to learn new techniques as well as the exposure to independent learning.

Here are a few of the development pages that I produced while doing the project:
The concept of the logo was to make it look like a bookmark, reminding people to 'Save The Date' for the summer celebrations in July 2018. The design sumbitted to the school for the competition was actually designed on my phone, but later on I used Photoshop in order to improve my skills and to experiment with new software.
