Mid Season Invitational 2023

Riot Games teamed up with Rare Content for the 2023 Mid-Season Invitational event. With 13 teams competing at London's Copper Box Arena, we produced feature content which perfectly captured the excitement. We filmed the teams in gritty East London locations to embrace the DEFY theme. The teams were also captured using a Moco camera rig in-studio. Graphic projections enhanced the individual player footage. Additionally, we had a dedicated event camera team to capture all of the best moments across the competition. From the content, we produced three stage films, one for each of the tournament's stages: Play Ins, Brackets, and Finals. We also created daily teases which hyped up the event, and daily post-match interviews which provided insights with key players.
