Milbank Arms April 2019

The Milbank Arms, located in Bedale edge of the North Pennines on the North Yorkshire County Durham, is part of a 7000-acre Barningham & Holgate Estate owned by the Milbank family since 1690. The pub is highly regarded part of the community, with a 5-star rating on Trip Advisor with absolutely no negative feedback at all. The location of the pub is very rural and with a lot of history with it, which could be incorporated into the logo and other designs for the business. Located in an idyllic village, near Barnard Castle and an hour away from the Lakes District National Park as well so it’s in a picture-perfect location, with lots of woodland etc. The brief aims to create a new identity and brand style, which creates a new market with an eye-catching look and gives a sense of sophistication and that it’s welcome to everyone. I aimed to create something eye-catching, yet give people the impression that it is a very high-quality pub (which it is according to Trip Advisor).
