Min kokbok

Residing in a quaint Swedish village, I immersed myself in the pages of vintage books, finding particular fascination in cookbooks and their captivating photo spreads. To me, they exuded a certain allure that I found deeply sexy. In the year 2021, I embarked on a journey of self-exploration of my sensuality, embodiment, and the embrace of my physicality through the selfies. This endeavor was a departure from my previous hesitance, rooted in the apprehension of being perceived as overtly provocative. Unfortunately, the unclothed female form often invites unwarranted misconceptions. It was from the pages of this very cookbook that I drew inspiration for the collages. While they do engage with the objectification of the body to some extent, it is done so within the framework of an ironic culinary context.
