As the creative director of this shoot, I was inspired by the song "Bonnie and Clyde" by Brigitte Bardot & Serge Gainsbourg and the movie "Pulp Fiction" by Quentin Tarantino. I want to express the strength of modern female. Women are always being asked to do a lot of things (being strong, working hard, being pretty, while playing the role of a mother and wife, etc..). Even in the story of Bonnie and Clyde, people somehow prefer to mention Bonnie as Clyde's girlfriend, which doesn't seem fair to me. That is why I set up this concept. We are all new Bonnies, we are growing stronger every day. All of us shall have the courage to leave the labels behind, to be who we really are. What we wear can not define who we really are. We can choose to dress like a queen, like a princess, like a wanderer, like anything. But we shall forget it all and be proud of ourselves. Because we are new Bonnies.
