MODAPOLKA Tulip Collection

It’s a fleeting dream about spring love, full of references to the beauty of nature awakening to life. I would like this collection to evoke the longing for the touch of the first rays of sunshine, for the smell of warm soil and flowers coming into bud … These sensations are reflected in the elaborate, sensual style of the Modapolka designs – based on the shape of flowers and made with attention to detail – as well as in the fabrics: natural, refined linen and cotton in flowery, pastel hues and earth tones. The inevitable change of seasons, the succession of phenomena in nature and the awareness that we’re part of it all accompanied me constantly while I was working on the collection. The cyclical nature of things is an element of ecological balance. That is why I strive to make clothes that are durable, can be given second life and are easy to recycle. My motto as a designer is to combine simplicity with ethicality. I care deeply about the environment and sustainable behaviour. The fabrics and dyes used for this collection are 100% natural and biodegradable.
