Artwork created to shed light into the deforestation of one India's largest wildlife sanctuary in Mollem National Park, Goa. Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and the nation wide lockdown, the Government of India has unfortunately given the green light to numerous manufacturers and individual companies to eradicate natural reserves in the name of development. The Mollem forrest in Goa is being demolished for building a railway line, transmission lines as well as a highway road construction project. Featured are Papilio Clytia (Common Mime), Pareronia Valeria (Common Wanderer) and Papilio Demoleus (Lime Butterfly) some of the many marvelous specimens found in the lush Mollem Wildlife Sanctuary in Goa.
