‘Momentary Fantasy’ (2020) is a series of sixty-four colour photographs of varied dimensions, arranged sporadically. This dynamic constellation of pictures, delight in colour, pattern and the chemical foundations of the medium. This exhibition highlights the fascinating visions that are capable of being captured by imaging the wavelengths of light that our eyes can not see, through infrared photography. Creating a utopian, psychedelic sort of fantasy world, through photographs. The abstract notion of what is portrayed allows for an intimate and open narrative which is solely up to the viewer to interpret. This project explores realism, perception and truth in what we see. An artist’s book was produced handmade, to accompany the exhibition.
