Mondella is a portraiture/fashion/reportage project in collaboration with Cabina Rizzo - Handmade fashion and jewellery. The photography project has been shot in Mondello, the beach coast side of Palermo city in Sicily - Italy and it portrays the women of the area. Mondello has always been known for its seaside, the beach, the main square and its fishermen. Mondella wants to explore and show the feminine part of this beautiful and iconic area of Palermo with the ladies who make Mondello richer in culture, traditions and history. From owners of bars, ice-cream shops and food stores to the iconic faces of the main square these ladies are the soul of this very colourful seaside village.
