MONEY AND SAVINGS IN MARRIAGE!

  • Esther Solomon-Turay

Join Authentic Worth Publishing and friends as we discuss the importance of money and savings in preparation for purposeful marriage.   We know how vital and crucial numbers are in our generation, especially when two become one. It starts with the numbers and we should be financially wise about our income, expenses, savings, purchasing habits and responsible to build for a better tomorrow.   Join us as we dive into our latest book; The Becoming Woman series to inspire and give value into the lives of singles, those who are in the courting season, engaged and ultimately, purpose-filled marriages. Before saying I do, it is important to conduct a financial health check before any form of commitment occurs. When you don’t know how confident you are with finances, it will become difficult to analyse your spending habits.   For this reason, we have partnered with two seasoned married couples; Mr and Mrs Sebastiao and Rachel & Jeff, who will be sharing their own experiences on how they continually work together in building financial stability in their marriage, children and beyond. Whether you are in a relationship or soon to be in one, it takes a level of maturity to discuss openly where you are and find solutions to keep moving forwards by acknowledging areas that need assistance in developing a consistent financial habit. We are expectant and ready to learn from these two couples on Friday 31st May at 6.00pm.   It is not about focusing on how grand a wedding should look like, and neglecting what married life will entail once the big day is over. Let us continue to apply wisdom in our lives as we learn from those who are ahead of us and what we need to know in our own relationships. There is nothing to be embarrassed about when two people come together and be intentional about the future they want to achieve, creating room to expand, budgeting, explore new streams and being around like-minded people willing to thrive.   “Until you learn how to embrace your fears with money, you will never learn how to persevere and expand it.” – excerpt from The Becoming Woman book.   No matter how eager you are to be in married, it is important to have a positive mindset about money and build knowledge around how you can develop ways to maximise and increase income whilst reducing unnecessary spending during the single season.   Join us via Zoom on Friday 31st May where we discuss The Becoming Woman – Chapter 6 on Money and Savings in preparation for marriage.   Registration details are: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/the-becoming-woman-book-series-chapter-6-money-and-savings-in-marriage-tickets-893763349237?aff=oddtdtcreator&_gl=1%2Aftv7yg%2A_up%2AMQ..%2A_ga%2AMTI3NzY2MDA5NC4xNzE0NDA1ODg2%2A_ga_TQVES5V6SH%2AMTcxNDQwNTg4NS4xLjAuMTcxNDQwNTg4NS4wLjAuMA..&keep_tld=1      A Zoom link will be sent two days prior to Friday 31st May 2024 – we look forward to seeing you then.
