Monolith is an experimental audiovisual piece that focuses on creating digital topography and textures from real-world data. Using height maps generated from geographical features - glaciers, canyons, and estuaries etc - Monolith transforms large-scale landmarks into an intimate other-world. The coinciding sound design was made as part of my side project - Scotch Mist - which again focuses on organic forms and textures, made using a combination of modular hardware and software.
