Mood Ring

Mood Ring is a non-commercial UI App design project designed on Figma to promote a personal journalling app that allows users to track their moods by logging thoughts, notes and dreams. Named after a jewelry fad that began in the 70s, mood rings were popular accessories which consumers (often younger women) would wear to better stay in tune with their conscious and subconscious moods, and gain a better understanding of themselves. With established design styles and UI kit, wireframes and copy, I’ll be applying recently learned design styles to the loading and onboarding screens for Mood Ring, ensuring that I create visually cohesive and consistent screens that employ my learning of visual design principles with user preferences top of mind.
