Through these compositions I am trying to translate the poetry faces tell me, like an allegory of the soul. I work from existing photography or from portraits I shoot. I also work with photos of ancestors, bringing them to life in blending them with a world of their own that I create, inspired by the story of their life or simply by the emotion that I feel. I am available for commission. If you have a photo of a loved one or an ancestor you’d like to honor, I’d be happy to turn it into a personalised tableau.
