Mothers - Poem

Mothers” is inspired by my incredible mother who is my inspiration of beauty, strength and determination and I wanted to reflect how much she empowers and encourages me. It’s also inspired by my strong belief that woman are undeniably powerful, putting up with everyday sexism and misogyny. We constantly are made to feel like we need to prove ourselves but we are incredible just the way we are. The over arching message is about how we perceive women in comparison to men throughout the different stages in their life, from youth to old.
