Movie poster design for 'Blessed by Sunlight'

I had the pleasure of designing a poster for the movie titled Blessed by Sunlight, directed by Sebastian Krolak. Set in Tanzania, the story of Blessed by Sunlight provides shocking insight into the haunting lives of its most marginalized citizens, people with albinism. spoiler alert: I wanted the poster to be focused on both symbolic and physical meaning. The red whistle serves as a practical warning device as well as carries a deeper symbolic meaning, representing the main character resilience, determination, and fight against the pervasive darkness and discrimination she faces due to her condition.
