1h Docudrama which I edited for ITV1's Real Crime series in 2002. Dramatic reconstruction and interview footage combine to reveal how Birmingham family man Brian Field was convicted for the sadistic killing of a Dorking schoolboy 33 years after the event. This film is part of the long running series, "Real Crime series". "I have worked with Rashid Davari on three complex 50 mins documentary films* and found him to be an exemplary editor. Long before we entered the cutting room Rashid was contributing in a very useful and creative way to the shoot, and to a visual style which we could employ on programmes. In addition to knowing how to structure a complex documentary, Rashid is a genuine cinephile who is able to both storyboard and cut engaging cinematic sequences. This compliments his creative use of music as well as his very complete knowledge of Avid’s own software. Lastly, Rashid is very conscientious and will work extremely hard to see a project through to completion. In a television world increasingly dominated by compromises, I have no hesitation in recommending him." Geoffrey Smith, Producer/Director, May 2003.
