My Child Is A Dog - CONTENT

A reflection on the role of the mother/woman. A reflection on identity. The images tell the story of self-reflection, at first being in the dark. Then, while feeling blurry caused by fear of not knowing who we are, the question has been dared to ask. In the third image clarity returns, simply because the question has now been asked. And finally, the identity of the mother is exposed in the fourth image. To identify the mother we don't need an individual face - that would tell us nothing - but the silhouette tells it all. The answer to the question has been given. Irony? Or not? This is left to decide to the observer.
