My dear Venice is a small collection of 5 outfits inspired by my hometown Venice. Throughout this project I had the opportunity to talk, meet, and see the work of the glass masters in the island of Murano. This led me to focus on one of my favourite Murano glass artists: Fulvio Bianconi. His work is defined by playful silhouettes, bright colors and incredible textures. Translating glass into textile can be very tricky as it is something transparent, fragile and solid at the same time. All striped fabrics were selfmade by attaching one by one all the stripes of different fabrics and colors. I had the great opportunity to collaborate with PAGAN MURRINE in the design and creation of unique glass pieces ( buckles) using the original technique of the murrina glass. Combining colors, materials and texture has never been so much fun. An immense thank you to PAGAN MURRINE for the beautiful collaboration.
