The Usual Day Perhaps every photographer's drawer may keep a stack of latent images waiting to be discovered. During my bachelor's degree, I aspired to initiate a long-term photography project exploring the relationship between everydayness and the unrelenting, subtle transformation of a rapidly changing landscape. Back then, the West Kowloon Cultural District was still under development, and each visit unveiled a different perspective, prompting me to revisit and observe its evolution continuously. Yet, with graduation and the subsequent transition to full-time work, this idea was temporarily set aside. Over these challenging years, the once-familiar rhythms of daily life began to feel unfamiliar. Time, however, has given me another opportunity to revisit this concept. By unearthing the hidden and unexposed work, I have embarked on a journey of bringing the past into the present and taking us to an unknown destination. This venture ultimately compels me to question and redefine what everydayness means. First Edition Printed in June, 2023 Published by Peter Wong Edition of 50
