My Hijab

My Hijab is a short documentary telling the stories of seven young women who share their experiences of wearing their hijab in Ireland. The girls reveal the prejudices they face in their day to day lives Ireland. The documentary was featured in ‘Forum: Transcultural Dialogues’, a transnational exhibition held in Rua Red arts centre in Dublin in May 2018. Directed by Budoor Al-Abri and Paula Dunne, I was given the role of Cinematographer in the project.
