The Belmond Award
Aspire to create any object of desire fit for one or all of Belmond’s barges based in France.

PRIZE: The winner will receive a cash bursary and a commission to design a one-off piece to be manufactured and displayed on board a Les Bateaux Belmond barge due to complete an exciting renovation in 2021.


John Lewis & Partners Award for Design and Innovation: Week 1
Produce a standout collection with the beautiful use of colour and provide a distinct, original handwriting which would work well in a home environment.

PRIZE: The award will include £1000 & the opportunity to spend a day with the John Lewis & Partners Product Design Team in support of your career development.


John Lewis & Partners Award for Design and Innovation: Week 2
Enhance people’s lives by creating a standout Product, piece of Furniture or Space to react to the dramatic changes which have taken place in recent years to our home environments.

PRIZE: The award will include £1000 & the opportunity to spend a day with the John Lewis & Partners Product Design Team in support of your career development.


Hallmark Award: Week 1
Shift perceptions of the category ‘Greetings’, explore new thoughts and concepts for a future vision for Hallmark.

PRIZE: The prize given includes a £1000 to support the development of your design career, alongside a virtual 1 month mentorship opportunity to experience working with our in house designers and Design Directors.

Creative Conscience Environmental Design Award
Create or build on a project that will improve the environment for the better.

PRIZE: At Creative Conscience, we are fortunate to have support from many great designers and practitioners working in the creative industry and can provide contacts and advice to assist the development of your design career. We aim to help the winning project towards becoming a reality.


Creative Conscience Social Impact Design Award
Create or build on a project that has benefit and impact, improving society for the better.

Create an outstanding and original design where colour features as a fundamental element and contributes significantly to its success.

PRIZE: The prize given includes a £1000 to support the development of your design career, alongside an opportunity to have ongoing mentoring, help and advice from design professionals. The winner will also be featured on the CIDA website and social media platforms.
