NetHope: Providing Internet access to refugees

  • Max McCabe
In response to the European refugee crisis in 2015, Google volunteers started working with NetHope engineers like llias to bring Internet access to camps throughout Greece and the Balkan region. The Internet is a necessity for refugees and it gives them hope–it means they can access information, educational resources and communicate with loved ones. To support NetHope visit nethope.org
