Bradford School of Art (part of Bradford College) is a traditional Art School, which prides itself on a long heritage of high quality arts education. Bradford School of Art can trace its roots back to Bradford’s rich textile heritage; in 1832, the Bradford Mechanics Institute was founded and in 1863, the institute had grown to accommodate full-time staff and had its own School of Industrial Design and Art. Today Bradford School of Art is a vibrant and distinctive community of creative people. Disciplines encompass art and design, fashion, textiles, graphics, photography, interior design, performing arts, music and media make up with special effects. Courses range from level 2 and 3 diplomas to degree and Masters qualifications. The art school traditions of interdisciplinary working, high quality workshop resources and student centred learning are at the heart of everything we do.
