NEW electronic music festival

This project is about designing a brand identity for a music festival that will be located in Ruse, Bulgaria. The idea behind the design is to break the conventional look and concept of music festivals in Eastern European countries like Bulgaria by embracing the past and bringing it back to live with fresh contemporary feel. Most of the created materials are in both English and Bulgarian as the target is not just to bring Europeans to Bulgaria, nor to do a festival only for Bulgarians. The visual elements and the typography are inspired by the Bulgarian folklore. The sound from the moving poster video is "Traka tren" by Ivan Shopov.
