„Sunflower“ transports us into the golden hour of the late afternoon and, in contrast to all other songs of the album, "Tropical World" it is not about Sora’s conceptual world. Unconsciously, I wrote this song about Vincent van Gogh. I only realized this a week later, when a friend spontaneously took me to a pop-up exhibition of van Gogh in London. After this experience, I added a verse and changed the melody slightly. This song talks about the sacrifices we make for our art, as well as the constant search for tangible passion to chase away the dark sides of the mind.
