New Start New School

New Start New School is a resource commission by A Space for new Year 7s starting secondary school. The illustrations provide an accurate and inclusive representation of London’s children and communities, bearing in mind representations of multiple ethnicities, faith groups and abilities. Their aim is to name key experiences and normalise some of the difficulties which should help students feel less out of their depth. The illustration were made by Chioma Ince and the resource layout designed by Sonja Frick.
